Wave Degrees
Sometimes when counting down what I think are nested 4th waves, I run out of wave degree labels…like now. I have Sub-Nano waves which should last Seconds to Minutes; instead lasting days.
I’m thinking that when this happens, it clearly says there is something wrong with my count. Thoughts? Thanks, Perry |

RE: Wave Degrees
Hi Perry,
I have also had that happen and it turned out to be just some wrong counting so don't feel bad. That was a warning for me though like you say and it helped until the waves showed my errors. (yeah thats plural) 3kings |

That is a definite problem and while there needs to be a range in the degrees they cannot violate to that extent. Sounds like a speed change ( where price moved a great distance but time did not ) occurred in one of the subwaves but did not get picked up in your count and you added more detail than was called for. Make sense?

RE: Wave Degrees
Update:
I ran into the same problem. I discuss it more here: http://newelliottwaverule.org/forums/thr...ml#pid1410 Without a specific example that I could check I was apt to answer in the general sense. My apologies, Perry.

RE: Wave Degrees
Tom, thanks for the S&P 500 Count posts.
It was the ‘running out of wave degree labels’ which was my main concern. Your post #528 in the S&P 500 Count thread was just the sort of situation I was troubled with. It’s nice to know that running out wave degree labels alone does not mean a wrong count. I gather that you will be adding another 3-4 degrees to the official NEWR wave degree table at some point. At least with an e-book it’s not quite so hard to publish an updated edition. ![]() Perry |
