Tom and company: What data provider are you using for metatrader 4?

That's a great question fins. This is something of a little 'top secret' with Tom. I've heard him say before about some other questions, "I could tell ya but then I'd have to kill ya". Heh Heh.

So I think I'll defer it to Tom but I just couldn't resist putting my loudmouth 2cents in there. You could obviously use any MT4 provider but the one we use at STAR is special and if Tom wants to let that out you will know it's the best.

Well it is a very closely guarded secret. We indeed value this data
source very highly. The reason is its accuracy and lack of manipulation.

With all the datafeeds from all the brokers you would need to be able
to pass judgement on those issues in order to be selective like that.

STAR has the expected outcome from one of its setups and signals
that can actually tell us if the data is wrong!

Over time the winner emerged.

The best data we know of worldwide is Alpari.ru (Officially Alpari NZ).

They are out of Russia but I believe they recently became owned by
a New Zealand company. Years ago I found that Russian feeds were
far less manipulated. This one is the best of all.

You use their demo server after setting up your free demo account.

I think I may have posted this elsewhere but if you are not in forex
trading and only deal with central exchange markets the chaos
depicted in this picture may be news to you.

How would you like to never know what you really have with your
data that your broker provides? It is an everyday problem in forex.

Thanks for revealing the secret source! Do they have equity futures (i.e. spx, dow and nasdaq) and metals?
