It's hot here in Germany, and I didn't get much sleep last night, so this is my semi-trance count.
and an alternate, finishing I of C or 1

Here is another count. It will be interesting to see how far this next swing goes.

Some of the bars have multiple symbols of the same degree stacked up because the counts were done on intraday data.

The wave count and analysis on this chart were done manually and not generated by ELWAVE. Elwave has there own version of wave degree symbols:

Primary is pretty standard 1-5, A-C in a circle
Intermediate is (1)-(5), (a)-(c )
Minor is 1-5, A-C
Minute is i-v, a-c
Minuette is underlined 1–5, a–c
SubMinuette is i.–v., a.–c.
Micro is I-V, A-C
SubMicro is i – v, a-c in a smaller font than Minute

Failed yellow 5 - illegal within the new rule sytem. Just looked at Tom's long term Dow chart on the previous page - doesn't the action from 1966 to 1974 look awfully similar to 2000-2009? Just a bit smaller, but almost equal in time?

No failed yellow 5th, wrong chart dow 1-100th my bad. Ill put the correct one up in a few minutes and take a look at that 66 to 74 action you talking about. c u soon

Hi guys proper chart below. Rudy cant say Im seeing the same thing you are there. Are you looking at monthly data from 66 ??. Im going to have another look. Chart below has no failed yellow fifth and seems to be right. Have a look and see and let me know. Till then

Spike, I was looking at that little embedded yearly chart.

What wave are you working on? White B? How come blue B is in 5 waves? Am I reading your chart right?

The Dow and the spx are not in the same count right now. There is this low on June 7/8, which counts well as b of 2 on the spx, but is retrending in the Dow. No relief from after hours action on that issue. And it IS an issue.

My view:

Spike I agree with you up until the White A and then where you have a blue 3
I believe should be the end of A of White B and where you show the Blue A
would be the B of White B. Where you show the Black B near the end I think
is the end of the C of RTB 4 and so we go south to finish White B.

Having already posted that I don't do Daily charts (reasons given on S&P thread) here's a possible one for the DOW.

It is one proposed elsewhere by upstreamdave (aka USD), verified by me and then produced on here with his permission.

I work on finding the 4A that is then followed by an RTB. The 4A must be soild and then the rest falls into place.

The obvious problem is the spike down. Was the market liquid? Was the data valid?.......

The 4A following it contains some of that problem data and therefore what follows is a very tentative suggestion.

The next 4A looks like a much better candidate.

I use 1 2 3 A RTB C Pivot as my labels. If possible I show the three waves of the RTB in pink labelled as a b c.

The final bit in dotted lines is awaiting confirmation and when constructed yesterday was a possibility and as such is unvalidated.

NB This is "Daily" based on UK Spread Betting data (00:00 to 23:59 Zulu+1) and NOT the usual market open hours.
