Tom, I know that you don't want links in our posts. But could we establish a thread that only contains useful links? It could be a closed thread, and members could send you a message - hm... if that's even possible - asking you to include the link. Does that sound reasonable?

Sorry but I would rather disappoint now rather than later and lose the
time besides, which the savings thereof was the main objective.

There are many problems with such things like changing a redirect and
so it becomes moderator intensive.
