Non-rtb 4th wave C termination point
Tom- I know the "c" of an RTB 4th can "fail" (i.e. not terminate lower than the a wave in a bull market). Does the same hold true for the c wave of a NON-RTB 4th, or does it have to end lower than the a wave (again, in a bull market).

The Non-RTB 4th's C wave needs to set new territory or it would be an
actual failed wave.

The scenario you mention for an RTB 4th's C wave is not a failed wave
due to no requirement that it set new territory in the C wave.

Is it a requirement that a RTB 4th's C wave retraces to A or put another way does a RTB 4th wave have to retrace to the 3rd wave.

OK, I think I found the answer here.

There is no requirement for an RTB 4th wave to retrace to the 3rd wave.

Correct. There is no limitation on the c wave of the RTB 4th other than it cannot move lower than the start of wave 1. It can go higher than than 3 or lower than 3 and can enter wave 1's price terriotry.
