Hello!!

Hey guys n gals,
Im brand new here and was wondering if anyone can show me exactly HOW to count waves? There is a lot of crap on other forums and I figure this may be the best place to go. I have been interested in elliot waves and fibonacci, but could never get my head around it. Any help would be great! Thanks so much!

Hi Diesel,

This is not really designed to be an introductory entryway to Elliott
Wave. For basics there was not much point to redo what is already
out there.

While there may be some misinformation on certain subjects, you
should do quite well to learn the straightforward stuff, knowing you
can come back here and put it to use with the New Rule, and nobody
will give you any grief about it.

I’m pretty new to Elliott wave. Frost and Prechter’s book “Elliott Wave Principle” is a good starting place for understanding Elliot Wave. Then, replace all the complex wave forms like: extensions, triangles, diagonals, etc with the New Rule.

For me, getting the fractal nature of the wave structure into my mind was/is the challenge.
